WHS Band Calendar   

 

Upcoming Dates (Spring 2026)

 

**All events are mandatory for ensemble members. Concert & marching events include all members unless otherwise indicated. Jazz events are required only for Jazz Band members. 

  • Thurs-Friday, January 15th-16th: All Region Clinic and Concert, Robinson Fine Arts Center (no tickets required)

  • Wednesday, January 28th:  Side-by-Side Rehearsal, Bowman Middle School, 5:15-6:30 PM (Wind Ensemble Only)

  • Thursday, February 5th: Ensemble Contest, McMillen High School, 5:00-9:00 PM (all woodwind & brass players only - students will play their ensemble at a specific time then be free to go)

  • Saturday, February 7th: "Swingin' Social" Jazz Event, Plano East Senior High, evening

  • Saturday, February 28th: UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest, Plano East Senior High (required for all percussion students, wind players may choose to perform at this event)

  • Saturday, March 7th: Plano East Percussion Concert, Plano East Senior High, 3:00 PM

  • Tuesday March 10th: Pre-UIL Concert, Robinson Fine Arts Center, 5:00 - 8:30 PM

  • March 16th-23rd: Spring Break

  • Wednesday & Thursday, April 1st-2nd: UIL Concert and Sight Reading, Robinson Fine Arts Center, times TBA

  • Saturday, April 18th: WHS Solo Contest Williams High School, hosted by Williams HS Band at Plano East Senior High, more details TBA

  • Friday, May 1st: Band Banquet, Williams High School, 6:30 - 10:00 PM

  • Saturday, May 2nd: Band Registration for 2026-27 Williams Band, WHS Band Hall, Morning and Early Afternoon

  • Tuesday, May 5th: Plano East Cluster Jazz Concert, Plano East Senior High, 7:00 PM

  • Wednesday, May 6th: Williams Band Spring Concert, Robinson Fine Arts Center, 6:30 PM

  • Saturday, May 9th: Williams Band "Hype Day", Williams Auditorium, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

  • Tues-Thurs, May 12th-14th: East Cluster Marching Camps, Plano East Senior High, 5:00 - 7:00 PM

  • Friday, May 22nd: Final Day of School

 

***Additional sectional rehearsals and percussion rehearsals will also be required and will shared via student & parent communications
